Chocolitas were a favorite for kids and adults alike. When we immigrated to the United States 10 years ago, we started making them commercially. Lucy wanted to start a business that she could run from home since caring for her handicapped son did not allow her to work outside the home. In addition to chocolitas, Lucy incorporated frozen Venezuelan arepas into the product line. Today, we make chocolitas all year round for different occasions or events. Thus, many in Florida have adopted our tradition of giving chocolitas as gifts to show love and gratitude. And for the Holidays, we make over 60,000 cookies… love that reaches many!
